We know all too well that when you have a crafty parrot, sometimes you have to get creative to keep them happy, healthy, and entertained. Our main goal is to share with others the Do-It-Yourself projects we do for our birds. Some will save you money, others will just give  you better quality control over what you are feeding, and some are just fun! Whatever your drive, we will guide you through so you, too, can get more involved with the things you provide to your companions.

Sometimes, it really is as easy as 1-2-3!

Hi there, I love your website, very informative…I just adopted an idian ringneck from a family friend – he’s approximately 5 years old [have never cared for a bird before, am a complete novice]. He is on a seed only diet with occasional fruit. I would like to introduce veggies plus convert him to pellets [both pellet & seed mayybe]. Could you please advise me on how to approach this – recipes, steps on how to do, etc…

Many thanks for your time 🙂 ~Amanda~ [from Australia]
